We partnership with the Lions Gate Hospital Neurology Ward and the Neurological Rehabilitation Outpatient Program to provide appropriate post-discharge placement in therapies and activities at the centre for stroke survivors.
NSSRC members have been involved in research studies designed and implemented by UBC students studying balance in post stroke individuals. The most recent study involved using the Nintendo Wii to measure improvement in balance following a prescribed number of sessions with the Wii.
